Governor Nixon created MoBroadbandNow as a public-private initiative of multiple cooperative partners to expand and enhance broadband accessibility and adoption to all areas of the state. The governor has set an ambitious goal to increase broadband accessibility from 79 percent as of January 2009 to at least 95 percent by the end of 2014.
Damon Porter is Managing Director, leading the seven core objectives of the initiative. He joined the initiative in November 2010. Previously, he served as a director for a Fortune 500 telecommunications company and in several leadership positions in Missouri state government.
Anna Read is Project Manager, responsible for the Regional Technology Planning Team project. Anna has several years of experience in planning and project management. She joined MoBroadbandNow in September 2012.
