Gov. Nixon’s Transform Missouri Initiative is an ambitious plan to use federal recovery dollars to create jobs for Missourians now, and to transform our economy for the years to come. Transform Missouri focuses on expanding the three pillars that support Missouri’s economy: developing our human capital; enhancing our information and transportation infrastructure; and embracing emerging technologies. The MoBroadbandNow project is key to the success of Gov. Nixon's plan.

The Regional Technology Planning Team (RTPT), will be researching the important issues for the region, collecting data on the attitudes, needs, and interests of the stakeholders, and then building a strategic broadband plan for the region.
